I rented a photo studio for two hours to shoot my old tap dancer and choreographer friend whom I shot last year as well. At that time I was using small speedlights and had very little concept on what I wanted to achieve. Now I had my plans.

I saw a reference to the PDP Photo Annual 2008 on Chase Jarvis’ blog. You can see exceptionally inspiring photographs. Lots of them. Start looking at them only if you really have the time.
Chase himself btw won two awards on PDN.

I’ve just realized that there was an error in my project entry form of the last part of my Blog Statistics Project which made it impossible to submit articles. Chances are that some of you tried to submit your work, and I did not receive that. I’m terribly sorry for that.
If you have not dropped me a separate email about your article I kindly ask you to resubmit it.
I also extend the due date of the project with a week and would be happy to receive your entries until 6th of June.

Believe it or not, this very blog was visited even from iPhones.
But wait a sec. Let me take one step back and start this topic from there.
Even though I’m not a pro blogger with well defined monthly earnings target and I’m not selling anything here, I am interested in why and how readers are reaching my articles.
From the statistics it seems that almost 25% of the traffic arriving to Photonovice.net are from search engines. I’m pretty sure that not all the visitors coming here from e.g. Google can find answers for their questions, but the roughly 2 minutes time spent in average on the site when coming from Google is a good sign. The bad sign though is the nearly 70% bounce rate (percent of people leaving the blog after checking only one page) of the same traffic source.
