Two Weeks Holiday

A Real Assignment

If I was pragmatic I would say that I’ve just become a pro photographer. However, if I consider the magnitude :-) of the project :-) I just smile. It’s just one single picture printed 20 times in A5 size in photography quality.

The story started when I photographed the bridge that’s being built near my home a few weeks ago. The guy who let me shoot there is actually the CEO of the company that supplied and installed all the steel wires and cables of the bridge. He asked if I can show the pictures I made. I showed him the photos and he said that he might need one of them printed to share it amongst all the workers who worked on the project and asked if I can arrange that. I said sure.

Yet Another Great Photographer

Have just come across a photographer’s Web site that I found through Strobist. It’s Zack Arias’ site that David Hobby linked for Zack’s Seamless White Background tutorial, but Zack has other great things too, like his portraits with beautiful eyes.

Project Results – Blog statistics – Where Are You From

Eventually this has arrived. I’m sharing the results of the last part of our Blog Statistics Project.

This time the area that has been explored in the visitor statistics of photography blogs was related to the source of the readers: geographically (in which countries a blog is popular), social network wise (which other sites or blogs send readers in our way), in terms of loyalty of readers (how many people access content through RSS readers), etc.

I would like to say a

to everyone who supported or contributed to this endeavor.
